A refrigeration truck body is generally made using a traditional sandwich composite structure, often referred to as a sandwich panel. However, the TS Brothers refrigeration truck body panel is not a simple sandwich panel - it features a specially engineered five-layer construction:FRP outer skin + fiberglass layer + PU insulation core + fiberglass layer + FRP inner skin

Additionally, a Z-shaped reinforcement rib is embedded approximately every 400 mm inside the panel, significantly increasing compressive strength and load-bearing capacity. All layers are bonded with a specialized resin structural adhesive and then pressed into shape at one time using a large laminating machine. This ensures the layers are tightly bonded, with no delamination, bulging or deformation.

This design not only enhances the overall strength of the panel, but also greatly reduces heat loss, providing superior thermal insulation performance, making it ideal for high-standard refrigeration truck body applications.

Materials Used

The inner and outer skins of the TS Brothers refrigeration truck body panels are mainly made of high-quality FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), which offers excellent corrosion resistance, impact strength, and is easy to clean - making it very suitable for cold chain transport environments.

The insulation layer is typically made from high-density PU foam (polyurethane) or XPS (extruded polystyrene) to ensure excellent insulation and a very low thermal conductivity.

At the same time, we can also offer customized material solutions to meet different climate zones, cargo types or budget requirements. Depending on the customer's request, the skin material can be replaced with aluminum sheet or color steel sheet, or insulation cores of different densities, so that the refrigeration truck body meets diverse structural and environmental needs.
